“Apps” means our 99 Mobile Apps on iOS and Android and any other app we may own or operate from time to time;
“Personal Data” means any data, whether true or not, which is (a) about an individual who can be identified (i) from that data; or (ii) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access and would include data in our records as may be updated from time to time, or (b) defined as “personal data” or “personal information” under any applicable data protection laws;
“Platforms” means collectively 99 Mobile’s Apps, Social Media and Website, and any other websites or applications we may own or operate from time to time;
“Social Media” means 99 Mobile’s pages and accounts on third party social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok;
“99 Mobile, we, us, or our” means NineNine Mobile Service Sdn Bhd, or a holding company or a subsidiary of NineNine Mobile Service Sdn Bhd.

Examples of the types of Personal Data we may collect from you as follows;
Name, contact details, email address, your shopping/browsing behaviours.

HOW WE GATHER YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

  1. Your registration on the Apps
  2. Your transaction on available products on the Apps
  3. Your Membership Program sign up
  4. You browse our products and services or otherwise interact with our Platforms
  5. You accept our cookies on your device
  6. Your interaction with our Sales Team or other representative via WhatsApp, emails or telephone calls
  7. Your interaction with us on our Social Media (i.e.; liking, commenting, private messaging).
  8. Your participation on giveaways, lucky draws or promotions.
  9. Your authorized representative submits your Personal Data to us for any purpose reasonably authorized by you (i.e.; purchases collected by you or as a gift).
  10. When you voluntarily submit your Personal Data to us for any reason.

    2. Registering and maintaining your Membership Program account
    3. To process your order for our products, process or collect your payment for the order Verify and carry out payment transactions (including any credit card payments or bank transfers) in relation to payments related to you and/or services used by you. In order to verify and carry out such payment transactions, payment information, which may include personal data, will be transferred to relevant third parties such as our payment service providers;
    4. Provide you with supporting services and functions related to your App activity and/or user account, or which you have subscribed to, such as saved items in cart, wish list, brand or product notifications
    5. Administering our membership or point redemption programme(s)
    6. Administering any giveaways or lucky draws and communicating with you in relations to such giveaways or lucky draws (i.e.; announcing the winners)
    7. Communicating with you in relation to your queries, requests and feedbacks.
    8. Personalise and improve your customer experience when you visit the Platforms
      (i.e.; prioritizing products appearing in your search results)
    9. Comply with (i) internal risk controls, (ii) the terms of our access to payment processing, financial or banking services such as credit card disputes, fraud, billing errors, or (iii) any applicable law; and ensure our Platforms function properly and to improve their performance, by carrying out activities such as debugging, statistical analyses for optimizing our Platforms.
    10. Send you marketing communications in relation to our sales, products, services, promotions or the Platforms, including notifying you of our marketing events, initiatives and promotions, competitions, lucky draws, loyalty or point redemption programs and other promotions.

    1. Employees, consultants, temporary workers
    2. Payment processors, who process your payments on the Apps
    3. Vendors/business partners in connection with the processing and administering of any promotion, giveaway, lucky draw, events or point redemption programme organised by us.
    4. Agents, contractors or service provider who provide operational services to us (i.e.; online cloud storage and processing, information technology or other relevant services which requires their collection or disclose of your Personal Data.)
    5. Any other party whom you authorize us to disclose your Personal Data to.

    DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE OF 99 MOBILE APPS

    We will only disclosure Personal Data outside of 99 Mobile if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure of the Personal Data is reasonably necessary to:

    • Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
    • Enforce applicable 99 Mobile Terms and Conditions, including investigation of potential violations.

    • Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of 99 Mobile, our users, a third party or the public as required or permitted by law.
